She looks great! I just love the brilliant blue leather coat with the round metal accents on weirdly-shaped pockets. Then she has on great textured tights and two-tone boots. Wrapping it up she has chosen a green patterned scarf. Of course the red glasses frames would add punch to anything. Her incredible confidence brings it all together, and that’s something you can’t buy.
I won’t forget these eyes for a long, long time. Absolutely stunning! In these days leading up to Halloween I certainly don’t want to risk mistaking a costume for daily wear or daily wear for a costume (even worse) so cautiously I asked this man if this is the kind of style he wears every day. Sadly, no; it’s a Halloween inspiration. His exuberance of colour and fashion derring-do are exhilarating though, something I would like to see more of. He asked me if I was going to dress up for Halloween – I had to answer, with a smirk, “I dress up every day,” and resisted adding “darling” at the end of my sentence. I’m kicking myself for not getting a separate shot for better clarity and wow factor.
I was strolling past the Gucci doors on Georgia Street last night when I suddenly froze in horror and stupefaction – there, above the door, was a gigantic, fat-bodied, practically-pulsating spider sitting in the middle of a web. It looked like a huge, black bulging sac with fangs, just waiting there to macerate its next victim. It was lit up with such spook factor that I couldn’t stop eewing and aahing and generally freaking for a good quarter of an hour afterwards. I went by today to show you Spooky Gucci. They could not have planned this decoration any better for Halloween if they had tried. Please don’t hurt him if you stop by for a gander. We’ve all got to make a living. (Okay, so maybe I exaggerate a little about the size, and I don’t think it was black at all, maybe not even alive, but still…I freaked.)
