Check out those zesty tangerine shoes! Then she has a bold, beautiful orange zip jacket peeking out. She said she considers orange a wardrobe staple. Oh, yes! And of course there’s the smashing red winter coat and oversized scarf in burgundies. Love that combo of analogous colours. The addition of the pearls adds a touch of oo-la-la, and the mod chain belt ties in beautifully with the groovy buckle on the shoe. This woman works at Vancouver Art Gallery.
Such fine powder blue trim on his vest – the blue umbrella matches so well that I’m almost not disappointed that it was raining today. The jacket has flecks of blue-grey in it as well, which is difficult to make out here. His round glasses add a touch of distinction to the look, along with the styled side-parted hair. Casual but together.
Beautiful – this woman is so put together. The powder blue suit makes her blue eyes pop, as does the slight tinge of blue in her collar, and she frames these pastels with a beautiful black coat. She had this collar custom-coloured and tailored to match fur-trimmed gloves, and using the leftovers she had enough for matching trim on a hat. Doesn’t the complementary colour of the orange bag electrify the blues? At one time this woman wanted to study at Parsons in NYC, but she has obviously kept that artistic sense alive in her work in banking.
