Again today I style-eyed a woman for the second time (first time here), and as chance would have it, I posted both women on the same day in February. I’m starting to see familiar faces…

Look at that metallic gold sweater. Isn’t it great the way it pops against her red leather jacket and ties in with her ruby red lipstick? Throw in a bold animal print scarf, some mod boots, and an oversized leather bag with zipper tracks every which way and we’re talking sizzle. Great retro sunglasses too. Wow! This woman is fabulous, a shining beacon of more spring days to come. I style-eyed society gal Alexis Palkowski before, Feb. 15, at the same intersection. She bought this incredible dress at The Room at the Bay, a place that I thought existed only for people like me to drool over their high-end clothes because I’ve never actually seen any of the pieces on the street. Thank you, Alexis, for shattering that myth! She mentioned something about Ungaro… I don’t really care what the label is as long as we keep seeing looks like this floating down our sidewalks. Alexis is so much fun to photograph, a natural.

New Winning Streak?

This woman looks fabulous! Her hat was hand-made by Toronto-based artisan Julie Sinden and purchased at the One-of-a-Kind show. She credits her beautiful coat and trousers to her personal talented seamstress. Her look is topped off with popping-red nails, and colourful and intriguing accessories, including the arachnid pin which she bought locally, closeup below. This woman said that she hasn’t had a photo taken that she liked since 1985. I hope I’ve started a new winning streak!
