I adore this woman’s hairstyle – its boldness reflects well her distinctive, sophisticated style. If you look closely you can see a short black slip under this sheer black maxi skirt. The chunky black belt paired with this filmy fabric is just right. And she has added marvellous pops of colour in her handbag and lipstick. Also check out her gorgeous eyebrows; they really stand out with this hairstyle.

Skulls and Pinheads

How striking this man was striding down the sidewalk – I was a bit scared with that huge Pinhead from Hellraiser graphic on his shirt and the macabre happy skull on his toque. No need to be afraid, though; this man was very friendly. He likes horror movies and he is a vocalist. I love how his round sunglasses really play up all the other “O” shapes in his hat and T-shirt, and the polished combat boots are the perfect no-nonsense grounding.

Reluctant Elegance

I love this woman’s tailored look in black. In this case the solid palette beautifully highlights her swishy platinum hair and her gorgeous necklace. Seeing her on the street, the word elegance came to mind. She was reluctant to have her photo taken, but I’m glad she changed her mind (with the help of her partner – thank you). She looks great!
