I loved this woman’s pastels paired with those awesome metallic silver Dr. Martens boots. Great combination. She bought the robin’s-egg-blue bow tie at House of Vintage Fashion, which is one of my favourite downtown vintage shops. Her soft spring colours were a visual oasis among the harder oxbloods and blacks that seem to dominate the sidewalks this autumn. This woman is an opera singer.
This is Angel and he works magic with hair colour. He did my latest platinum look here. Don’t you love his harlequin diamonds with those leather pants and skull boots? He works at C:EHKO, pronounced say-ko, on Hornby St.; the shop is a branch of the popular European hair boutique. Angel’s catalogue good looks are matched by a warm and fun personality. He is also an artist and fashion designer. I highly recommend him.
This is Sandra. I’ve featured her in this blog twice before, here and here. She is the quintessential rocker chick with studs, boots, leather, big hair, and Jackie O sunglasses. I see her fairly regularly since we are in a “heavy metal band” together (a very, very bad one) and she is always game for a great photo op. This architectural circle required her presence. She up-cycles clothing with studs and other custom details.
