Dashing in the Snow

You can’t see the snow here but it was coming down like great soaked cotton balls and I thought I’d be slogging home empty-handed again when I spotted this gentleman. He was literally dashing and I had to skip-run after him for this photo, not an easy task in my go-go-sno boots. When I asked him about what he had on, he said, “Oh, it keeps me warm!” I laughed. Just goes to show you, it’s not necessary WHAT you wear but HOW you wear it. Dashing.

I was almost ready to agree with the new poll stating that Vancouver is one of the worst dressed cities on the planet, when I came across this woman. Thank you! Black with brown is one of my favourite combos, but what I adore about this woman is her rich auburn hair with the caramel-coloured coat and the textural pop of the faux fur. Striking.

This woman attends Emily Carr, the local art school. The bun in her hair, which is so popular on the streets these days, looks great. I guess I just love everything about this outfit.
