Okay, so I style-eyed a uniform, not for the first time either, but I couldn’t help myself. This woman, who works at Sephora, said that she thought some name designer had styled this simple tunic with side slits and roomy slacks, and that she liked wearing it. And wear it she does, beautifully. The blunt-cut hair and chunky shoe also add dimension.

I looove this photo – you just don’t know what they are thinking. Together these two made quite an impact walking down Granville sidewalk. They are both ESL students, the one left from Taiwan and the one right from Japan.

This Vancouver woman is an editor and I wouldn’t change anything about this black outfit – she wears it well. She refashioned some favourite pants into this pocketed wide-leg version you see here. The shoes, which are hidden, are chunky Fluevogs.
