Summary of a Spring Day

The ease of this young woman’s stride made me think she was on her way to a welcoming place. I liked her earth-tone palette, which seemed a warm complement to the spring weather, and the filminess of her blouse and the very lightly padded jacket suggested the shedding of heavy winter layers at last. Even her knit turban and bone-tone sweater had a lightness to them. This woman works in fashion merchandising.

complexion, earth tones, hair colour

It must be the air in Regina that has given this woman her remarkable peaches and cream complexion – flawless. It was one of the first things I noticed about her, plus how well her umbrella complemented her warm earth tones and beautiful hair. She moved to Vancouver after completing business studies and is now pursuing a career as a fashion buyer. Incredible effervescence.

Stunning! The hair, the moccasins, the blue pendant glowing against the ochre and golds and earthiness…. Let’s not forget the aviator sunglasses. I asked this Vancouver woman if this is a special look for her, and she said that she pretty much dresses like this all the time. She describes herself as a child of the sixties and seventies in spirit. She is a yoga instructor.
