cape coat, gloves, hat, women

She bought the cape coat in New York and it looked so good that her sister, understandably, asked to borrow it for her small role as “Hot Chick #1” in an independent film. Doesn’t this woman wear it to perfection? In fact, her moves were so smooth I had to ask if she was a model. She’s not; she works in banking. Her whole look is so together, calm and sophisticated, but her animated personality made it come alive. I’m loving the wet-look gloves, the hat, and nude shoe. Beautiful. Did you notice how the H&M sign in the background seems to mirror her outfit?

I love how this photo came out with the red umbrella in the background echoing the vivid red scarf and silky red embroidered gloves. Her textures are wonderful. As I said, there are the silky gloves, then add to them a chiffon scarf, a rich velvet maxi skirt, and filmy veiling on her hat. She styled the hat herself – underneath is a men’s hat and she changes the scarf tied around it to suit her mood. Brilliant. This woman may soon be designing and selling dresses online. Here I’m loving the multiple scarves with the wrap and the hat and gloves on this woman, those touches of earthy colour with the black. The hat and boots with the skinny pants give this outfit a mod twist, in part because of her natural electric energy. This woman lives in Sechelt and I caught her walking with her daughter. I’ve included a closeup clip of this woman’s eyes – aren’t they beautiful?
