It’s hard to decide which is most arresting about this man – his distinctive style or his brilliant blue eyes. He fashioned the rockabilly tie (his words) from cord that he purchased at local fabric mecca Dressew, and he even added plastic caps as a finishing detail. It looks fantastic nested in the Peter Pan collar. The shoes, by Diesel, have unique double laces, and while he bought the hat from Urban Outfitters, he wears it like few others could. You’ll also see that the inside fabric of the trousers looks like denim. Love it.
I saw this woman strolling through the art gallery square and it wasn’t until she got close that I realized she was wearing workout wear. Well done, I thought to myself – if only all people on their way to and from their workouts could look so put together. Her addition of the hat, the bold juicy raspberry pullover jacket, and those cute flats pull this look from slack to super. This woman and her husband both work in the arts.
Top to toe in black and white with bubblegum accents on a bag she bought in London. This Vancouverite is originally from Surrey, England, and I caught her walking with her daughter near this striped wall, which is one of my favourite downtown walls. She looked so sophisticated and fresh in this two-tone ensemble. I especially love her wide-brimmed hat and those fabulous lace-up ankle boots.
