I caught this handsome man on his way to a birthday party. He had just picked up his bamboo jacket from the cleaners – he bought it in Tokyo. I love this clean, crisp summery ensemble topped with the dark hat. This man is a scientist who specializes in genetics. Fantastic style array!

I love this ensemble. The jacket is Smoking Lily, the boots are Fluevogs, and the skirt is H&M, but the overall look is 100 percent individual. And what a fun, flirty hairstyle! Something about this photo feels so real – she’s a natural. This Vancouverite works at a non-profit.

What a delightful chat I had with this couple from Victoria. Denise caught my eye first with her charming cropped jacket, which she had just bought at Front, a fantastic new/vintage shop on Main Street. Her bag is by Astro Satchel. I was almost too distracted to notice how dashing her partner GJ looks (below) with his wonderful moustache, sunset scarf, and felt lapel pin that Denise made. He scored the brilliant wool/cashmere overcoat at Value Village. Yesterday he “made” Denise try on a pretty frock at Anthropologie – that’s the kind of partner to have!
