Those blue loafers are fantastic with the cuffed neutral trousers, and you can’t see them well but he’s wearing blue striped socks too, which tie in wonderfully with his striped button-down. I asked this woman two questions: 1) Do you work in a style-related business? – No; 2) Do you have anything you’d like to say about your style? – No. Simple as that. On anybody else this would be just a trenchcoat and a scarf, but on this woman these pieces are exceptional. I saw her shine from half a block away. She is a fine demonstration that it’s not just the clothes but the person in the clothes that separates drab from fab. I love her presence, her ease in front of the camera, and her attention to details.
