Meet Angel, short for Angelito. Don’t let that ultra-cool look fool you – he is one of the warmest people you could ever meet and a true artist when it comes to hair, although he is also a gifted stylist and designer. See his website here.

Angel coloured my hair platinum on the weekend at Chemically Addicted salon on Davie Street and I couldn’t be happier. You can see why in the photos on my other blog here. There he was, shining in the doorway of Hotel Vancouver, wearing a fantastic patterned bow tie, belt, and pocket square, and a baby blue pinstripe jacket against a ground of white shirt and pants. The ruby deck shoes added the perfect colour counterpoint. This Vancouverite, originally from Edmonton, was waiting for his friends for a night on the town. Superb.

This is Angel and he works magic with hair colour. He did my latest platinum look here. Don’t you love his harlequin diamonds with those leather pants and skull boots? He works at C:EHKO, pronounced say-ko, on Hornby St.; the shop is a branch of the popular European hair boutique. Angel’s catalogue good looks are matched by a warm and fun personality. He is also an artist and fashion designer. I highly recommend him.
