I love this lace-up back, which what I saw first and how I recognized her from the first time I style-eyed her, here. Again she wearing fantastic shoes with bows. I love how this sweet, incredibly unique outfit stands out against the gnarled tree. This woman will be studying fashion design in the fall.

Ruffles and Animal Attractions

Animal prints, ruffles, puffed sleeves, and pointy shoes – a visual feast. The combination of the faux fur print of the shorty vest against the silky lining of the coat is a wonderful study in texture and pattern. I didn’t ask but the coat looks like a Betsy Johnson piece. I also love the way the ruffle of the skirt is mirrored in the ruffling in the coat. And what a great colour palette to highlight this woman’s auburn hair. Overall I’m seeing a hip take on old world styling.
