Sometimes people just shine, like Michael here. He’s the kind of kind of guy you think you’ve seen in a movie or on TV and this ultra-pared-down look is all he needs to turn heads. I spotted Michael near the art gallery. His hands remind me of Michelangelo’s sculpture David.

This is Edwin. I love his urban casual look of baggy shorts and T. He comes across as cool yet crisp which elevates these pieces beyond sportswear into true style. If you look closely you’ll see the bright lemon yellow of his cap. Smooth.

She has Seen the Light

I know this woman from my mornings out and she looked so fabulous today I couldn’t resist some photos. She studied fashion design for a while and is a talented creator: the men’s T-shirt she is wearing she customized by altering the neckline, tying the shoulder, and hand-stitching on red sequins, see photo below. (She has another great hand-sequinned T-shirt of the Port Alberni water bombers.) The bag she sewed from a pattern given to her by a friend, before the days of laptop carriers, and she added red satin criss-cross lacing on the flap, zippers, and animal print lining. Heavenly.
