This woman broke my dry spell. In case you hadn’t noticed, I have not posted in a while. Either I hadn’t seen any stylings that particularly interested me or when I did see one I lacked the energy to depress the shutter button – lame, I know. Enter this woman. I love her pattern mixing and those pops of colour. The vibe is very retro-edgy, especially with that fantastic hairstyle. She is a thrifter, which gives her even more points in my book, and has the coolest job – she finds out what people want from their software and then translates that to engineers who craft it. Like I said, a flower in the desert.
This is a simple outfit but a great colour combination – slate grey, hot pink, blue grey, and turquoise in the necklace. Isn’t her long hair beautiful? She said that she doesn’t usually wear flats and only threw on these tights because there were no runs in them! If only all slap-dash outfits came out this well. This woman works in graphic design.
She said she put this on because it was wash day and this is what she had left -but it works so well! I love the asymmetry of the hemline, the blast of indigo against the neon pink tights, and the shock of aqua in her boots. This woman is originally from Poland, then spent time in the UK. She now lives in Vancouver and is a photographer.
