I felt, encountering this Vancouver gentleman, that he had been ordered to the colonies to size up how our frontier town was faring. Impeccable. Watch fob, tie, waistcoast, pin-striped pants, the works. And a beautifully-trimmed moustache. A delight to see on our sidewalks.
