There’s a quality of Superman’s Daily Planet newspaper about this man, like he’s a guy who’ll roll up his sleeves to get the job done, with panache of course. From his steady hopeful gaze I imagine a future of shiny, baby blue convertible Cadillacs and gleaming skyscrapers. Of course this wonderful vision is aided by his snazzy apparel: the fitted fedora, the marvelous patterned overcoat, brown leather shoes, and the scarf. This man proves why vintage is always in style – classic.
Dear Ms. Serf,
You have no idea the kind of joy that you’ve brought to this man’s life. I work with him and he has not shut up about being featured in your blog since he got to work this morning. I tried to tell him that you are a contractor hired by caring wives to enhance the confidence of their otherwise listless husbands. A great xmas present if you ask me.
Ha! What a wonderful comment, and thank you for writing it. I was so happy to stumble across this man as a vibrant contrast to Vancouver’s hibernation or survival wear, as I call it, which is not particularly expressive. This kind of bidirectional positive energy is what fuels me. Enjoy the holidays!
